Compressible intumescent tape with high fire resistance

mcr Dunaseal is a compressible, press-fit tape made of layers of polyurethane foam coated with a 2.5 mm intumescent material. Fire resistance rating up to EI120.

Application

In building partitions

  • Rigid walls: Walls with a thickness of not less than 150 mm, made of concrete, aerated concrete, bricks or blocks, with a density not less than 600 kg/m³.
  • Rigid floors: Floors with a thickness of not less than 150 mm, made of aerated concrete or reinforced concrete, with a density not less than 600 kg/m³.

Characteristics

Available in the following variants:

  • mcr Dunaseal Single, dimensions 30 × 35 × 1000 mm, consisting of one layer of polyurethane foam and two layers of intumescent material.
  • mcr Dunaseal Double, dimensions 30 × 67.5 × 1000 mm, consisting of two layers of polyurethane foam and three layers of intumescent material placed between them.

Available in multilayer versions:

  • mcr Dunaseal Multilayer (3), dimensions 60 × 100 × 1000 mm, consisting of three layers of polyurethane foam and four layers of intumescent material placed between them.
  • mcr Dunaseal Multilayer (4), dimensions 60 × 132.5 × 1000 mm, consisting of four layers of polyurethane foam and five layers of intumescent material placed between them.
  • mcr Dunaseal Multilayer (5), dimensions 60 × 165 × 1000 mm, consisting of five layers of polyurethane foam and six layers of intumescent material placed between them.
