Can water mist replace a gas extinguishing system?

In some applications it can be an alternative, but the choice of technology should result from an analysis of the specific hazard.

Among its advantages, water mist uses clean water, can operate in spaces occupied by people and does not require, in every application, a room as airtight as gas extinguishing systems do.
